Things never happen the same way twice
On May the 25th, 2004, I passed my A levels in the most successful way imaginable.
The weather was freezing, not at all spring-like and yet I managed to find three four-leave clovers three days before the exam.
And our national ice hockey team lost the chance for medals against the USA. 2:3.
On May the 25th,2010 I am going to try and pass my final/university –leaving exam. At the comparative literature department that is.
The weather has been chilly, rainy and not at all spring-like recently…
And I became supersticious and tried really hard to find at least one four-leaf clover in the freshly cut grass on the way to my granny’s. Mission complete.
And our national ice hockey team won the chance for medals over Sweden today. 3:2.
Moral 1: it is essential not to give up until the very last second of one’s fight.
Moral 2: "Things never happen the same way twice, dear one."
(C.S.Lewis, The Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian)
